Choosing the Right TiO₂ Grade for Plastics
For masterbatch and plastics applications, the key TiO₂ quality factors are whiteness (L*), tinting strength, dispersion behaviour and heat resistance at processing temperatures. General-purpose masterbatch typically uses a cost-controlled TiO₂ blend, while high-whiteness and engineering-plastics applications require a higher-content grade.
Our TITAN MIX P75 (economy) and P80 (premium, ~80% TiO₂, L* ≥ 97) cover the two main directions. For PVC profiles, PE/PP masterbatch and engineering plastics, we recommend grades based on your polymer system, processing temperature and target opacity.
