Choosing the Right TiO2 Grade for Plastics
For masterbatch and plastics applications, the key TiO2 quality factors are whiteness, tinting strength, dispersion behaviour and heat resistance at processing temperatures. General-purpose masterbatch typically uses a cost-controlled TiO2 blend, while high-whiteness and engineering-plastics applications require a higher-content grade.
Our TITAN MIX P75 economy direction and P80 premium direction cover the two main paths. For PVC profiles, PE/PP masterbatch and engineering plastics, we recommend grades based on your polymer system, processing temperature and target opacity. Technical values should be confirmed by TDS.
